A clean sweep in the last four events has placed Dave Peelo solidly on the top of the league table with one more full counting race and two championship events to come. The nearest challenger Andy Kavanagh placed third in the handicap behind a strong Cathy McCormack in second place. The placings in this years league are still very much up for grabs in the coming weeks, so all riders are encouraged to get back out and grab points.
Next event on Thursday next 12th July is the road race champs on the Beehive circuit and we look forward to a good field for that race.
The Danny O’Shea Open TT comes up after that on Saturday 14th July(Beehive) and we expect especially that all racers will make themselves available for what will be about an hour and a half of marshalling on that Saturday as a compliment to our Race Secretary Joanne who has put in a great effort this(and every) year in our race series. All other members are of course welcome to assist.
We hope to have about 30 -40 top class riders in this event and it is profile event for the club and we look forward to hosting it.
All members available who can spare some time on that Saturday can contact Joanne firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
