A thrilling 40kms test of endurance and stamina over a fast and testing course led to a three man group fighting for honours on Thursday night on the Beehive circuit. In a move from the planned Gregory’s route the field took to the testing but fair championship circuit in this finale of the racing league.
The sprint to the line on the last of four laps of this undulation course led to a two second advantage on the last climb for Dave Peelo with league contender Andy Kavanagh in second followed by Billy Bourke in third.
The final race on the calendar finishes with the traditional Hill Climb starting from The Grove Bar at 7.30pm finishing at the top of Altidore.
We hope to see as many of the racing league turn out for this fitting finish to the season.
