The second last race of the season took place on Thursday 7th August with the running of 
the Hill Climb Championships at Luggala. The race was run in a light rainfall with riders facing a headwind on the final ascent. First home was Will Byrne in 9:23, followed by Conal Higins Jnr in 10:02, leaving his father Conal Snr trailing well behind him in the final podium spot with 11:20.
The final club road race of the season, the Massed Start Championship, was held on Saturday 9th August at the Filterbeds. A small field braved the wet and windy conditions. Will Byrne followed up his win in the Hill Climb by taking top spot from Conal Higgins Snr and John O’Sullivan, with Enda Ryan in fourth.
