In a three man sprint to the finish Roy Bowden took honours after a break to the line from his riding companions Billy Bourke and Mark McGarry.
The three speedsters resplendent in club colours worked together carving through the field finishing with the hilltop sprint on the corncrake circuit.
A great turnout with great support from the volunteer marshals provided for a superb night of fast cycling on this tough route which detered the scratch men from catching most of all the field on this occasion.
Huge thanks to all our marshals on the night.
Next week again at 7.30pm we ride the Gregory’s circuit outside Newtownmountkennedy in a CP race . The race begins from Gregory’s garage to Coynes Cross and back to Newcastle with a climb to the race finish.
