As we head to late Summer the groups on the road are holding up with some interesting tours this week.
Also a few notes for your information;
Best of luck to Danny McDermott in the Inishfree 300 this weekend as he finishes the last ride in his Super Randonneur challenge(200,300, 400 & 600kms). Mighty.
Paul Murray is leading the Saturday Tour through pastures new (possibly knowing him) this weekend from Tinahely.
The Dying Cow 200 is now set for Saturday 5th September, thank to David Murphy for his great organisation.
The Roubaix Ride will now take pace on Sunday 25th October will the usual exciting route, a few new add on’s and the usual good humour back in the Grove watching the race.

Also in advance of any club event all members must register their intention to participate on the CI booking system, please do not turn up on the day without pre-booking using the app. It is also recommended that you might wish to carry a buff or mask in case you might need to go indoors…

Lead by Paul Murray this week. A magical mystery tour across lands we are not familiar with led by the local guide himself, expect tall tales and steeper hills perhaps. a staycation in itself…
Sunday 16th August, The Sunday Road Tour !
Group 1 Meet: Grove Bar, Willow Grove @ 9.30am. Leaving Promptly at 9.30am!Lead by Patrick this week, a moderate pace of 70kms with coffee on our return in Fishers. When using the sign on use 9am as the start time as it only accepts hourly blocks.
Group 2 Meet: Grove Bar, Willow Grove @ 10.00am. Leaving Promptly at 10am! Lead by Eileen and covering a route of approximately 50kms with coffee in Fishers on return.
Racing League & Championship
Thursday 20th August – Chase Pursuit Handicap with venue TBC @7.30pm
To ensure social distancing please sign on in advance and arrive in good time to prepare with sign on by the what’s app group, to race you will need to use the CI booking system as mentioned last week.
Those entered have been added to the racing group what’s app which will be used as the sign on sheet each week. We will record weekly those who signify on what’s app their intention to ride each week for both race and contact tracing purposes. The sending of the what’s app reply will be accepted as your virtual sign on signature.
You MUST ride with a tail light as we head into fading light .
